Bordeaux American Bulldog / Dogue de Bordeaux hybrid dogs The American Bull Dogue De Bordeaux is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the AmericanBulldog and the Dogue de Bordeaux. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses. Recognized Names:

"This is Dixie, an American Bull Dogue De Bordeaux at 8 months old. Her mother was an American Bulldog & her father a Dogue de Bordeaux. Her training has been completely done based of the Dog Whisperer Books & CDs. She is the best dog I have ever owned. She is great with children ( my children are boy, 2 years & girl, 1 month). She has a well balanced, low-energy personality, and is care free of almost everything. She is great with other dogs, but not much of a guard dog... at least not yet. Her natural tendancy is to be very bullheaded & stubborn, but the training works so well that these charector traits are a non-issue... I would recommend an experienced owner only!!! Her weight at 8 months is 94 lbs, & at 3 months was 39 lbs. "Dixie, the American Bull Dogue de Bordeaux. Dixie is just now over 1 year old and weighs about 115 lbs. She loves walks, fishing for rocks in the water, and she loves snow. She has a great temperament, she is so excitable and loves attention, which she gets a lot of. She is good with other dogs. The hair on her spine raises when she is in a playful fighting mode with other dogs or feels threatened with some dogs. When she sleeps she snores and can be a soft small snore to a loud snore. Her under bite is pretty cute looks like she constantly smiles. She has a big personality and is a lot of fun."
